Refund Policy
Last updated: August 4, 2026
WPCodeQuill is a marketplace that connects buyers and sellers. These refund rules are designed to protect both buyers and sellers and apply to transactions made on our platform.
Please keep in mind that digital goods cannot be returned in the same way as physical goods. Because of this, different rules apply for refunds of digital products.
How to request a refund
To request a refund, please use the "Request refund" button next to the order on your order page. A refund can only be requested within 7 days after purchase. You may request a refund only once per purchase, so provide all required information when submitting your request. Before requesting a refund, please first contact the seller — many issues can be resolved directly.
You have the right to a refund in these situations
- Duplicate purchase: You purchased the same item twice. We will refund duplicate purchases.
- Item is not working as advertised: If an item has technical issues, first contact the seller so they can attempt to resolve them. If the seller cannot fix the issue and the problem is due to a defect in the item itself (not the buyer's environment), you may request a refund. When requesting a refund for technical issues, include a clear, detailed description and any error messages — vague requests like “doesn't work” are not sufficient.
Situations Where a Refund Will Not Be Granted
WPCodeQuill or the seller is not obligated to provide a refund in the following situations:
- You do not provide sufficient information or access for us to verify and troubleshoot the reported issue.
- You purchased the product without reviewing its features, compatibility requirements, or documentation.
- The product does not function due to incorrect installation, server misconfiguration, third-party plugin conflicts, or unsupported customizations.
- The product is used on unsupported hosting environments, outdated software, or low-quality/shared hosting that does not meet the minimum system requirements.
- You request a refund because the product does not meet your personal preferences, design expectations, or business requirements after purchase.
- You request a refund after successfully downloading the product and simply decide not to use it.
- You request a refund more than 7 days after the purchase date.
- You violate the product license agreement, terms of service, or misuse the product.
Exchanging licenses
If you purchased an incorrect license, buy the correct license within 7 days of the original purchase and contact us via our help center. We will refund the first license after verification.
Upgrades are refundable when you buy a higher-tier license (for example, upgrading from a Regular to an Extended license). Downgrading (for example, from Extended to Regular) is not supported.
Disputing a refund decision
If a seller rejects your refund request and you believe you are entitled to a refund under the rules above, you may open a dispute. When submitting a dispute, include a detailed description of the situation and, for technical issues, provide a clear description of the defect and any supporting error messages or logs.
